The exhibition is open daily from 10:00 until 18:00. Last admission is at 17:00.

The duration of the exhibition is typically 45 to 60 minutes (depending on the use of the audio tour). After the exhibition, visitors can stay as long as they like.

The exhibition is suitable for visitors of all ages. Children up to and including 3 years old have free admission. For children aged 4 to 12, a reduced rate of €14.50 applies.

The Art Below Zero exhibition is located in the Centrale Markthal and access is only possible via the main entrance gate of the Food Center (walking bridge) located at Jan van Galenstraat 6.

Art Below Zero is presented in a specialist temperature-controlled environment of -10°C, so wrap up warm to enjoy one of the largest ice exhibition in Europe.

It is not allowed to bring your own food and beverages to Art Below Zero or to carry food and beverages with you into the experience. After the exhibition you will find a food area that is open from 10:30 onwards. Here you can order food and drinks. You can also order pastries and drinks at the coffee counter inside.

Tickets for Art Below Zero can be safely purchased via https://tickets.artbelowzero.nl or through our official resellers Tours & Tickets, GetYourGuide, and Tiqets. Other ticket sellers may offer invalid tickets.
Tickets can be purchased online through our website or on-site at the location. It is advisable to purchase tickets in advance, as there is limited capacity per time slot.

Check the “Plan your visit” page for the best route to the exhibition by bike, on foot, by public transport, or by car. Bike racks are available at the entrance to park your bicycle.
Paid parking is available near the Centrale Markthal.

Make sure you have a warm coat and comfortable (walking) shoes. Feel free to bring a stroller or buggy for children.
Please note: skateboard or other rolling equipment is not allowed on the route, with the exception of medical devices. Dogs or other pets are also not allowed on the route.
For safety reasons, bags may be searched at the entrance. -
Art Below Zero is completely smoke-free and therefore it is not permitted to smoke on the route and the event grounds.
Drinking alcohol is strictly prohibited for visitors under the age of 18. A ban on drugs applies to all visitors to Art Below Zero.

We use camera surveillance on our premises for your and our safety. Camera recordings are stored for a period of 4 weeks. In case of an incident such as theft or injuries recordings may be used and stored for a longer period until the matter is resolved.
